Logline: Set in 1940s British occupied Singapore, a rebellious Chinese teenager starts an illegal radio station to blast some unsanctioned local music.

Val Tan is an international filmmaker that calls Singapore, NYC, and LA home. She graduated from USC School of Cinematic Arts in Film Production with a minor in Screenwriting. She is passionate about telling stories from the heart, surrounding themes of culture and family. Val has had films selected at LA Shorts, Hollyshorts, and Newport Beach Film Festival. Back in Singapore, Val interned at talent management and production companies. She works as a VFX Coordinator at CraftyApes and has been working towards getting a license in skydiving.
