Reyana Patterson is a writer/director/costume designer from Detroit, MI. From making costumes to editing, Reyana's childhood was spent diving into new ways to create. She studies Film, Television, and Media and minors in Theatre Design and Production at the University of Michigan. She is the Founder and President of the Black Film Society at UMich, and she serves as program director of Black Writers in Focus 2022. She has interned at MACRO and Cinetic Media. Her passions and hobbies boil down to one common goal: storytelling. Reyana is determined to create a pathway for more Black women and other underrepresented groups in Hollywood.
