CURSED LANDS
Logline: After her mother’s death, a troubled Chicana discovers she’s been cursed from birth to become the Keeper of her family’s matriarchal ranch in California— a sanctuary for sinister, dangerous creatures from Mexican folklore.
Growing up in Mexico City, Lore always had a fascination for the uncanny and mysterious. After studying Gothic Literature in Scotland and graduating from Stanford with degrees in English Literature and Film, she sold her first TV script to Blumhouse in partnership with Atomic Monster. Since then, Lore has worked on projects such as the upcoming TV series El Gato Negro with MGM Studios and Amazon, as well as original works with ACE Entertainment and Maquina Vega. She focuses on writing female-centered horror stories that bring Latinx creators together and resonate with larger audiences.
