Kanika Talwar
Director of Development
University of California, Los Angeles
Kanika Talwar is a senior at UCLA studying English. She is an actor and writer, and she hopes to work in development & production. Kanika aspires to be at the forefront of telling propulsive stories from absurd, authentic voices, whether from behind the camera or in front of it. She finds comfort in the liberation and elasticity that art provides, especially with independently produced projects, where a grainier camera lens can provide the most clarity for seeing the world around us. She has interned at FilmNation (Promising Young Woman), Fuzzy Door (Family Guy), and Rideback (The LEGO Movies), and she is currently participating in a Story Analyst Workshop with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. Her most recent short film performance will be screening at the Beverly Hills Film Festival this May.
